will keep this short and sweet, as handsome husband and i are headed out the door, with shiny airstream in tow, headed to the mountains. yipppeeeeeeee! nothin' like a roadtrip.

wishing all of you a wonderful, safe holiday weekend. we have so much to be thankful for living in this country; freedoms that people all over the world dream of. sure – there are problems. but we are a country of idealists. mom n' pops and global corporate giants. small, one-stoplight towns and the big apple. the american heart is filled with ingenuity and the promise of earned opportunity. we are dreamers, but more importantly, we are doers. it's this notion – the doing, not just the dreaming – and the freedom to pursue a life that makes one happy and fulfilled that makes small businesses just like miss pickles press tick from coast to coast.
