COOKIES, PLEASE.

i have a thing for old dairy logos. you know...back in the day when milk came from cows that probably lived just a few miles from your house and it was delivered to your doorstep in a cute tin caddy by the milkman? dairies had their own marks that were stamped on glass (real glass, people! not plastic!) and of course, each dairy logo was different. browse around any antique store today and you're bound to find these relics for a pretty penny. i've collected a few here and there over the years and i just love using them as flower vases. so much personality and i love a new use for an old object.

although the milkman is long gone (except perhaps way out in the country?), you can still enjoy the vintage goodness of the old-time dairy logo on these cute little 10oz glasses i found over at fishseddy. the best part? they are ON SALE for dirt cheap. just $2 a glass! they also carry them in a 14 oz size, but i prefer the smaller ones as juice glasses. or of course, a late night sip of milk. with a late night snack, naturally.

those are awesome! we have a local dairy that still does glass bottles - and they have a kickass marketing thing going on with cute bottles. perhaps a blogging idea :)

they also make these awesome flavored milks - rootbeer and orange cream (like a creamsicle)

longest comment ever concerning milk :)
